A small, quite cozy place with a little outdoor smoking area. Quite decent food, and to be in Kristiansand, the beer list is nice as well. Even finding a couple of new ones here every now and then. Mostly quite friendly service too. Most definitely a place to visit when in town, and a few meters up the street you’ll find the brewpub, on the same block.

10 taps, but mostly uninteresting beer. The most tempting beer was Meantime Yakima Red. The bartender thought it was a Danish beer... (Visited August 3rd 2013)

Quite nice and sometimes crowdie little pub restaurant. Good rustic food at affordable prices, and a growing selection of beer. Some of the staff is knowable on beer and makes friendly suggestions. Last Saturday was a really crowdie night, and I was just lucky to have a small table in the corner with two of my buddies for a pint and a chat. Then the waiter suddenly turns up unannounced with a free sample of Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale he thought we might be interested in. That’s really good service. As Patricks temporary seems to be pretty down on the beers for the moment Christianssand Brygghus is the best place in town for the moment with Bakgården Både & as the place with the best selection. This will change, but that’s the situation April 2013.
