Mysigt ställe som i främre delen av lokalen är en liten ölbutik med några kylar. Efter det kommer en bardisk med ett antal fat.
Mycket mysig del med ett långt och stort robust träbord med tända ljus. Lite känsla av en stor fjällstuga

Came here on a Sunday early evening. Was not crowded so the service was great: attentive and fast. Beer tap selection was limited but good. Different from other NYC places.

I really like the vibe in this place. It is friendly and easy, as if your artsy college dorm’s lounge served really good beer. In the dimly lit back area there are picnic tables and chairs that appear to have been cobbled together from a number of sources. The staff is young and helpful, and the snacks are decent. Oh yeah, the beer - well, there is a good selection of craft releases on draft, and a couple of cases of bottles too, all on sale for perfectly reasonable prices. I definitely plan on dropping by again.

Recently moved to the East Village and I’ve been here a few times. There is a spacious bottle section at the entrance which I believe is arranged geographically. The bar (12 taps) is just beyond that, with a large dining hall-style table in the back that everyone shares. It’s a huge, wooden table that almost feels like it belongs in a castle. There are also some random armchairs/benches along the walls. Interior is always pretty dim and the music is kept at a relatively low volume. They have food (meats, cheese plates, etc.), but I haven’t tried it yet. Bartenders have been nice every time and the growlers are a good deal (I believe I got a 64oz of Stone Enjoy By for $18 or so). No TVs, but there is a large projector screen that they use sometimes (I think they had it going during the NFL playoffs). And oh yea, they have board games available. Cool spot if you don’t mind trekking to Avenue C. Nearest subway is probably the 1st Avenue L or 2nd Avenue F. You can also take the M8 or M14D bus to get there.
