Popped in to compare with the other Molto! Four taps of craft were a limited but nice mix. Prices are now 580/260ml, 1,000/453, 1300/650, which are slightly lower than other craft beer bars in Umeda. Then again this is a standing place so that is to be expected. Good selection of J craft bottles, most regular sizes 780 or 880 and 1100 for 500ml Hide Takayama. Tapas looked good. Neither smokey nor crowded, but this was 5:30pm on a Sunday. 100m from Hankyu ticket wicket makes it an easy place to stop into if you can find it.

Very small standing bar in the warren of small shops around Hankyu Umeda stattion. Not easy to find, at least not the first time. Four Japanese craft brews on tap (and one major), along with 40+ bottled beers. Also around 10 wines. Counter space for maybe 6-8 people and six very small circular tables. Again, itís all standing, and it can be a squeeze to move around in. Wasnít too corwded when I went, but I imagine it could get a bit uncomfortable.Fairly loud pop music on the sound system. Prices are okay. A place to have a quick one and then move along elsewhere.

Nice little bar, but little English. Prices are a bit high for draft but not too bad for bottles. Not sure what I drank as draft was written in Japanese and language barrier made it difficult to find out more than style. All beers were Japanese. Food was typical and reasonably priced.

Good location, right in Umeda station. Standing only, and crowded, sometimes uncomfortably so. 5 taps: 4 Japanese craft and Heartland, decent prices (see KBL below). Pretty decent selection of Japanese bottles. A couple surprises there. Tapas-style food was well-priced and good. Definitely aiming for the new-to-craft-beer crowd and it seems to be working. Iíll pop my head in whenever I am in the station, which I guess is what they are here for. Not a place to stay a long time, though.

Tiny, crowded, and smokey. I guess thatís what you should expect from tachinomi, which is why I donít go to them much. Only three craft taps when I went, so I guess I lucked out that they at least had Shiga Kogen IPA. Good prices. Food looked good, but didnít have any. Service was fine. A good place for what it is, but if youíre looking for beer thereís not much reason to go here. The original Molto is much better, and there are several other bars in the area.

Thanks to KL. Standing bar, looks like it could get pretty cramped if busy. Bottle selection looked interesting and decently priced. Probably wouldnít stay here all night but would definitely pop in again on my next Osaka Crawl. Lots of good places around here now. Good prices.

Located right near Junkudo in the Hankyu station complex (on the left) is this small standing bar. They have 5 taps (heartland + 4 Japanese craft) and 30 bottles. The prices are pretty reasonable, M(260ml) 550 yen, L(453ml) 850 yen, LL (650ml)1300 yen but Heartlandís just 380 yen for 360ml. The bottles are a good deal with most 750 yen and Fujizakuraís 500ml bottles just 950yen. The place is small with room for 5 at the bar and 6 tables in the back that have room for 2-3 people each. They have free wifi which is cool, the staff were friendly and it seems like a good place to stop by for a quick beer before grabbing your train. The only negative was it was SUPER smokey, the ventilation isnít very good and you had to squeeze by the people at the bar to leave. If they remove the glass walls(which they probably could do when it gets warm) it shouldnít be too bad. The best thing about this place is it should introduce tons of people to nice craft beer which is a great thing.
