Visited 16.1.15. Beautiful location by the river - I guess it’s beautiful, it was dark when we got there :) Candlelit, cozy, with around 20 well-maintained taps. We drank plenty of Beer Here brews when we were there, and a fresh Amager Wookie. Cool place.

Nice cozy bar with 20 taps. The beers are changing often. The prices are fair and the staff is friendly. Great place in the summer when is possible to sit outside with a view over the lakes.

Inviting street corner, cellar bar down by the fifth lake in the eastern part of the city. A blackboard behind the bar shows 20 taps with a good assortment when it comes to different beer styles. The draught beers are supported by a rather extensive selection of bottles from different countries. Informal and relaxing ambience. A little patio outside has got a very nice view over the lake. Friendly service. During our stay the very right kind of music, meaning Rolling Stones (60s and early 70s), was played and made us feel very comfortable (visited First of May, 2014).

Bes’gte for foerste gang efter CBC14. Rigtig dejlige lokaler. Flot udvalg men i forhold til den originale mangler der et bord fodbold. Ellers meget anbefalelsesvaerdig.

Great place for grabbing a beer or two and even better in the summer due to the location. Plenty of choices on tap means that you’ll always find something you like. And it changes constantly too. Add the selection of bottles to that and you have a winner.

A dim lit place with a small downstairs area showing the football. Awesome! 20 taps with mainly decent local choices as well as a few from holland and the like. Think De Molen, Mikkeller, Dugges, Amager .etc. About 100 bottles in a book. Loads of US bottles from Lagunitas, Alesmith and the like. Plenty of To Ol as well. Service is great. Willing to chat about beer and very honest. Also gives away samples. Prices are decent. Great place

Visited a Saturday night for a couple of beers. 20 beers on tap, about 50 - 60 bottles beers, all in good condition. Good, fast service from the bar. Non-smoking, thank you! Excellent location facing the lakes - a neat place during summertime when you can sit outside and gaze at the ducks and the passers-by. Inside the basement there is exposed brick walls and rustic tables and benches like the sister bar Ørsteds Ølbar. Also an excellent place to watch football. A welcome addition to my neighborhood Østerbro otherwise dominated by conformist coffee shops. I am a regular!

Really like Søernes bar, and prefer this over the sister (Ørsted Ølbar) mostly due to the great location, with the outside seating overlooking the lakes, and the additional taps on offer. Good selection of bottles as well. Relaxed and cosy interior, great beer, knowledgeable and friendly service. Thoroughly recommended.

(Visited July 2013) Nice and friendly beer bar located at the northern end of the lakes in the centre of Copenhagen. The bar is in the basement, and the interior is mainly in brown wood, quite airy though. Some tables and chairs outside, with views over the lake. Very good selection of draught beers, 20 taps of quality beers from micros from Denmark, the US and other countries. A couple of Amager, Evil Twin and Against the Grain on my visits, by the turnover seems to be quite good. good selection of bottled beers. Friendly and efficient service. The bar is twinned with Örsted Ölbar, so it reminds a bit of that one, but feels more laid back (possibly due to the lack of sports TV). It’s a bit of a detour but could be accessed via train to Österport station, a couple of buses or by foot (it’s not too far from Nörrebro Bryghus and Ölbaren). A great addition to the Copenhagen beer scene. Will be back.
