I think brickmakers, by the same owmer, is better. Typical Irish pub with an okay selection of generic and Austrian and foreign micros. A bit pricey.

Not totally impressed by this place. Good service. Prices are fair. Beer selection is average. Good for Vienna I suppose.

I was there for the Food, had the 4 course tasting menu and it was absolutely delicious. Beer selection is also very decent for Austria.

There are many Irish Pubs in Vienna, but this is propably the best! Really cosy, with different rooms on the ground floor and in the basement. There are also some cosy, seperate "cabins" on the ground floor. Typically for an Irish Pub, the music is also very good. Beer list is really good, with lots of Irish, British, German, Austrian, American, etc. beers. They have always one guest tap, which often is worth a try. I didnít try the dining room yet, but what I saw and what I heard, the food is amazing and something really special - but also pretty pricey as expected. Overall a must visit in Vienna!

One of my favorite pubs in Vienna. Excellent beer selection and fantastic food. Best burgers in town.

Charlie Pís is one of the older Irish Pubs in Vienna, located on the borderline between the 1st and the 9th district. Take the subway to Schottentor and it is only a 5 min walk from there. This pub has a clear focus on good beer and food. They have 12 very good beers on tap - the highlights are: Fullerís IPA, Fullerís London Pride, OíHaras Stout, Schneider Weisse. The Fullerís IPA is outstanding!!! Very nice Pub atmosphere, a small bar, some tiny separated rooms and a large dining area. The food is good too. We had fish and chips, not as good as the ones in OíConnors but absolutely recommendable. We visited the Pub the last time on 19th of April 2013 and had a very good beer experience.
