As everyone else has said, definitely a wine and liquor store first, beer second. Small shop, decent selection of interesting beers and local liquors. If youíre only in this area, worth a stop to grab an Avery or Crooked Stave.

Really a wine shop with a small selection of beer located right around the corner from Lucky pie in a back Alley. The owner is extremely friendly and the shop itself is pretty cool. Beer selection is pretty small, but if I am around that area I will drop in since you can sometimes find things that are long gone everywhere else. Not worth seeking out, but worth a drop-in if you are close.

Why is this place in the database? - primarily a wine shop and (as has been noted), a bit hard to find, since it is in an alley - Iíve been in a few times, as it is right next to the Tattered Cover bookstore (my favorite bookstore in town), but for wine, not for beer - beer is an afterthought here - nothing you canít find at every other liquor store in town (unless you count some of the more "ghetto" stores) - if this is in the db, every other liquor store in Denver needs to be - donít waste your time.

This was my second attempt to come here for a visit. The first time they had closed already, the second time I completely forgot about it but happened to be walking by. Theyíre hard to find because the store is hidden in the back of an alley next door to a sushi place. They have a fair amount of wine so maybe theyíre well known enough to get some foot traffic but I wouldnít have known about this place if it wasnít for the Ratebeer map. Inside was a single employee who was nice but I wasnít looking for any help. The place is terraced with the bottom floor being all wine, the second level being wine and a little bit of beer, and the third level filled with more wine. The beer selection is pretty small over all but you can find a number of interesting choices. Great Divide, Avery, New Belgium, and a few non-Colorado regionals like Stone as well as some imports. Prices were a little high. I donít see myself stopping in regularly.
