A pretty decent beerpub and worth the stop in Leesburg. I went here after a trip from Harperís Ferry to DC and was pleased with the selection of VA beers. None of their own still sadly.

Decent beer focused restaurant. I guess theyíre related to Corcoran but still donít have anything of theirs on tap. I must not have paid enough attention to the beer list but got a canned beer when I thought it would be on draft. Pretty slow service just to get 3 canned/bottled beers, didnít seem too busy. Havenít tried the food but have heard good things. Convenient parking garage just a few steps away.

This place was finally open, on our third attempt to visit. Itís a medium sized fairly modern, fairly generic pub with a bunch of tables and a small bar. Service was friendly but a bit slow. No beers of their own, but they did have an interesting enough selection of regional and local things, i cluding Wild Wolf and Devilís Backbone. Didnít try the food. An OK stop, very conveniently located, with garage parking nearby.

While the place is nice, I was very let down by both the beer choices and the service I received. One two or three of the beers they offered were new to me, and the absolute worse part was when I asked for a flight, I was informed that only the bartender is allowed to pick whatís served int he flight. While I was very annoyed at this rule, I decided to give it a chance anyway, but with a small request. I asked that none of the samples be an IPA (of which they had a few). When I received my flight, fully half of the samples were IPAs. I flat out told the waitress I would not be paying for the order, and left. I highly doubt Iíll be back.

66 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 13/20
Ambiance: Good. The inside is basically one large, open room with lots of tables. Not much in the way of dťcor and a small, eight seat bar in the back. However, despite being named Leesburg Brewing Company, they do not actually brew anything here.
Service: Very good. Most staff have a decent knowledge about beer. One bartender in particular is certainly at a beer geek level.
Selection: Good. Only six taps, but a broad range of styles, often with a local focus. Good if you are from out of state. There is a small bottle selection thatís predominantly IPAs and pale ales. A few ciders as well. Again, the selection has more of a local focus which is a good thing. You can also do a flight of four beers.
Food: Very good. Itís a limited menu featuring well done pub grub (wings, tenders, burger, fish & chips, etc.).
Value: Good. A beer will run $5-$9 depending on what you get. Flights are $6 for four samples. Food is average in price for the area and quality.
Overall: You can probably find a brew you havenít had here unless you are from Virginia. Even then, you might get lucky. This is a place to watch as they have also taken possession of the space below them (formerly another bar). If an expansion is done, it could mean a greater selection of beer and even some in house brews if they install a brewery. This is a tied house. Part of the ownership is Corcoran Brewing Company. They are working out the logistics of getting their beer on tap.
