A little bit off the beaten track if you don’t bring a car, but it’s worth it if you seek out Norwegian micros from all over the country. Quite a few imports as well, but too many of the are British bitters and golden ales. Kinn, Klostergården, Nøgne, Haand, Lervig, Fjellbryggeriet and many more breweries available. Unfortunately the prices are at a Norwegian level. The service is very good if you bump into the beer guy, he knows his beers and seek them out from all over the country, don’t hesitate to ask him for advise.

This must be the best beer shop in Bergen, large selection of Norwegian micros, some which is difficult to hunt down in ordinary grocery stores. Large selection from UK as well. Well worth a detour.

The neatly organized beer shelves at Matkroken Landåstorget will tell any Norwegian grocery store customer that this is a shop taking its beer seriously! Recently emerging as one of (if not THE) food store with the largest selection of beer in Bergen within the infamous "up-to-4,7 % ABV"-limit, this is a must-stop for any resident of visiting beer enthusiasts. It’s owner is a beer lover who proactively seeks out new beer in the low ABV range from whomever sells it in Norway, and has ambitions to stock the broadest selection of brands in Bergen - or perhaps Norway, at some point. Service is friendly, although the regular staff don’t necessarily know as much about beer as the owner. Prices are...well, Norwegian, but not outrageous compared to other grocery shops with a good beer selection. Definitely worth going out of (central) town for if you are a fan of session beers (which is all you’ll find in any Norwegian store except the Vinmonopolet outlets).
