Appearance and ambience wise, one of my favourite pubs. Quaint, unspoilt and cosy. Prices can be on the steep side here and I sometimes think a good portion of the punters here don’t care what is on tap as long is gets them smashed. Also some floozy tried to pick pocket me here - unsuccessfully, so be on your guard of over friendly (supposedly) drunken strange women in this place. But overall still just a lovely place to while away a few ticks.

We (me, Loz and Isobel) visited here on Saturday 25th April 2015. I’d never been here before despite the fact that we’d certainly walked past it previously on walks in the area, but never really knew that it was a really decent pub. However it’s a lovely little corner pub, with a wooden front that curves towards the door, beautiful glazed tiles also at the entrance. You enter with the bar immediately on your LH side it is almost a feature itself it’s a great looking bar. The wooden floors look like they’ve been scrubbed and scrubbed. There was a very good selection of cask and keg beers with the likes of Magic Rock, Kernel, Wild etc amongst those on offer. The food looked quite good here with homemade burgers and decent looking chips. One negative was that a TV screen was on showing football but they also score a positive as the volume was mercifully muted, instead some pleasant ambient music provided some background noise. I would suggest that the clientele were mostly tourists but it was a mixed crowd with a few bearded woolly hatted hipsters, looking a bit like Badly Drawn Boy wannabees even though I am unsure if he has a beard. Just noticed the etched windows, yes this really is a very pretty pub that just happens to sell a very good range of beers. I liked it here, in fact we all liked it here, great pub in an area not blessed with many great drinking holes.

Small, cosy place in the middle of Soho. It’s already crowded from late afrernoon hours. 21 taps with all British craft breweries. Some of them ’re very young and unknown. 7 cascs, 7 kegs and 7 well known brands including Kernel or BrewDog. Best beer place in the center of London.

Small bar in deepest, darkest Soho amidst theatreland. One roomed pub with a few seats, the ale list above the bar did not resemble what was actually being served. A good mix of craft and cask beers with a several interesting local and micros from further afield. Well kept too Nice pub, nice atmosphere.

Opens at noon. Tap@the lyric London. First drink of the Day. Like orange juice;). Very haze orange. Intense orange notes. Some pinyness too. Very fresh dry. Bitter gentle finish. Love it in this atmosphere. Great place busy. The staff workshop hard. Good blend of micro and Real ales. The bar is not listes st Camra though. Recommend this place.

Tiny pub in Soho. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Excellent selection of keg and cask ales. Had Four Pure PA , Redwell PA, Raw Summit and Chantry Steeles. Good pub for quality beer.

A useful addition to the area for beer drinkers. Fairly typical Soho pub, nice enough although there were some dubious individuals in there! Four or five casks and a big row of kegs, you can definitely find something nice to drink.

Situé au coeur de l’action, la sélection est acceptable pour une fin de soirée mouvementée. Sur deux étages avec une déco vieillotte et des gens qui pullulent jusque dans les rues, comme il se doit pour Londres.

(Visited Apr 2014) Nice pub in the middle of Soho, not far from Piccadilly Circus. Interior is mainly brown wood, a bit bare and not very big, but it’s a proper, traditional pub. They had 7 real ales from interesting breweries and up to 10 well chosen keg beers of good quality. Service was friendly and efficient. Visited on a Sunday afternoon, it was not empty but fairly laid back. Nice and friendly place with a good beer selection. That combined with the location means I’ll definitely be back.

A solid venue in absolute terms but, on relatively speaking, this place is the best in its neighbourhood. They have a good range of beers on both cask and keg in addition to bottles. It’s a nice mix of modern craft and more traditional. The beers can be a touch pricey but this place has a frequent buyer card whereby after you purchase nine pints you get one free. In terms of ambiance it’s decent enough. Can get pretty rammed since this pub is in Soho, one of the most crowded areas of London. A really good local option.
