Sort of located in the middle of a plaza and next to the US marine base.
The selection of food is good and service is as you’d expect at a brew pub. Not all of the staff are knowledgeable about the beer as my server was not.
Otherwise, the choice of beer is reasonable (Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti surprised me) and the prices are about the same. Great if you’re going with a big group or just want to sit around and drink a few beers.

The biggest drawback of this place: It’s right in the flight path of the airport, so if you’re sitting outside you have a plane flying over your head every 60-75 seconds. It’s loud. Has the same awesome outdoor "beer-garden" vibe of all the other Stone locations, along with a great draft selection. They frequently brew new stuff so there’s usually a few new Stone offerings, as well as a few new local offerings. Service is spotty if you go for dinner; we went on a Wednesday night with my parents and out waiter pretty clearly was working 1 or 2 tables too many. Food was average. Fine. Not bad. Between the four of us, no one got a "Oh man you have to try this" meal. But again, not bad. It’s a crowded beer scene in San Diego, and this isn’t even the best Stone location.

I don’t exactly know what to think about this place. It’s a nice exterior but... it feels like it’s a setup. Everything is really clinical. Yes, the beer selection is impressive but where’s the craft beer soul?

Very fun cool place. Unfortunately the outdoor area was full so sat inside. Staff were friendly. Food was good. A few motels near by if you want to have a few. Best if you be outside.

Visited on an early Sunday evening. Sat outside in the beautiful garden area. Everything about the place, top to bottom was just stunning. An unforgettable experience. Service was forgettable though, we thought our waitresses might have just been having an off night. Killer bottle list. Great, small list of guest taps. Cool selection of Stone beers, including a number of interesting ’tap room only’ beers. Beer prices very extremely reasonable. Food prices were higher but befitting the extremely high quality. I would love to be able to visit regularly.

This is a must visit inmy opinion. Sucha huge cool place with huge putdoor garden seating and huge indoor dining room and bar. The service was as good as it gets with super friendly personable staff. Food was quite good even if it was a little pricey. The house beers wre cool and the overall selection of beers is huge. I heard some people that didnt like this place and i dont know how... Its fantastic.

starting to be the preferred location for a favorite brewery. the place is beautiful and impressive, and the tap list(s) usually fantastic. theyre losing me a little by drastically raising prices on strong brews, but just a little :)

Another fine Stone restaurant and brewery serving fresh beers and superb food, albeit a little pricey. The staff is friendly and attentive. This is worth a visit for the food and beer plus the old barracks it is located within.
