I was really happy to see a bottle shop open in my home area. Located across the street from a Weis Super Market, parking is plentiful here. The place must have recently opened, because it still has a new building smell to it. The store was divided with a bar and tables in the front and the retail beer selection in the back. (They also have food on site.) The taps were all craft but I didnít see anything too adventurous. The beers in the retail section were a mix of local and regional craft. I was surprised to see very little Beligan, German, or English labels represented. Of course what will prevent me from being a regular customer are the prices. I appreciate the fact they sell singles of everything but some of the prices were way out of whack and, in some cases, up to double what Iíve seen along the Eastern Seaboard. I really hope this place does work out but I canít it recommend it as it currently sits.

Brand new bottle shop in Sunbury, first of itís kind within 50 miles of this town. Only open about a week, and this was my first visit, but this place has some real potential. 10 taps, with growlers to go, and about 2-300 bottles, all available as singles as well as sixers. A bit more pricey than the Weis Supermarket across the street, but a way way better selection. Nice selection of PA beers, as well as a few that we donít see locally much. They have a deli/sandwich menu, didnít pay much attention to it, but I saw a few plates come out and they looked good, and also a small wine list for on-site consumption. Wish they offered a mixed 6-pack discount, but ya canít have everything. I think Iíll be purchasing a fair amount of stuff here, canít wait to try the food as well, and will update my rating when I do. They were pretty busy but I was offered help and the cashier/waitress was very chatty and offered some recommendations as I was checking out. Easily worth a stop if youíre passing thru town.
