I have shopped here many times in the past, its quite convenient just over the border from Nashua for those of us in beer selection deprived NH. The selection is quite good for the area especially when you consider the myriad of labels that don;t get to my fair state. Service is spotty at best, the kids behind the counter will help you find something but donít ask too much of them. The pricing seems about on par with what I would expect to pay save for that 28 dollar bottle of BA old stock thatís been there for ages. That brings me to the bad part about this store. They have a huge selection of beer available, probably more than they can rotate through in any reasonable amount of time, there is lots of old beer on the shelf buyer beware.

Iím 2 hours north of Mass so my New Hampshire beer selection is always weak and Mass is the only place I can go for a decent selection of beer. There are great stores in Boston or Springfield but this store is right on the MA/NH border and is a quick drive south from my house in Lebanon. I visit once a month and pick up $100-$200 in beers. The selection is great for us deprived NH residents and they are helpful with helping me out in ordering things that are rare. My only complaint is that the price is way higher than it should be on many things but I pay it because there arenít many places near me to buy beer. For NH residents, this is the place to go for great beer.

The Wine Society has also changed its name to THE LIQUOR STORE.

New Hampshire residents rejoice; you have an easy to get to package store with a reasonable selection.. Itís about a stone throw from the south entrance of the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua. It is a small store that includes wine and beer and although the beer section is small, they have a decent variety of choices. They stock a good number of Massachusetts brews beyond Sam Adams and Harpoon including Berkshire (growlers and bottles), Haverhill, Ipswich, and Wachusett. The imports come from a variety of countries and I like the selection of English nitro-cans. Friendly service. You canít break up six-packs but if you buy selected six-packs, you can also get the corresponding pint glass for free. I bought a six-pack of Saranac and walked out of there with a Saranac glass. Prices are average to above average. This isnít Julioís, Charles Street Liquors, or Table and Vine but youíll find something.

Wine Society Has moved - they are now a mile or so south on DW hwy in a little plaza across from Skate 3 - itís been open a little while - focused on upscale beers mentioned by others- all good stuff - great place for someone in Nashua NH to get something different since the supermarkets have the worst beer selection ever.

A decent wine shop with about 1/4 of the store dedicated to beer. Some nice brews- Orval and Rochefort, Duvel and a few other Belgians. Rogue, Stone, Flying Dog, Brooklyn and Allagash make up most of the domestics. Not a bad place- great selection compared to whats available in my home state (NH). Very nice location: off the main drag in Nashua NH, about 10 minutes off the Everett Turnpike.

This place is definitely wine-centered. Although their beer selection was small selection of beers, nearly everything they had was of high quality. Allagash, Weihenstephaner, Rochefort (only the 8ís... but for a mere $5.99), Orval, Ommegang, quite a few brews from the U.K. as well. Friendly, helpful staff. They also have monthly beer (and wine) tastings, held in a nice dining-room type setup in the back of the store. Iíll be going back, just for the cheap Rocheforts.

Small wine store in a little plaza (at the other end of the same plaza as Trader Joeís) across from the Phesant Lane Mall. Probably about 3/4 of the entire space is devoted to wine (hence the name). They have some good local and hard to find beers on the racks to the back right of the store. Once I was here and Concord Brewery was doing a tasting. Because they never seem to have more than 2 people in here shopping at a time I got a chance to talk to the brewer for a while. The selection changes every time Iím here so be sure to check back often.
