Nice little shop in the Munich city center. Very nice guy who offered help, but didn’t mind customers strolling around in the shop. The selection is very focused on Bavarian beers and rather classical styles (Helles, Wheatbeer, Bock, etc.). There are also some (mainly) American craft beers and also quite some beers of local craft breweries. Cheap for the more normal beers, good prices (but not exactly cheap) for the craft beers.
I sended my friend there to buy me some beers from Germany. Before that - i called to the shop and want to choose some beers, so my friend just need to pick them up.
I spoke with salesman for few minutes who clearly know only a little about craft beer. I asked about some Imperial Dortmunder and Gose - he doesn’t know anything about those styles. Next - i asked about Smoked Beers and Icebocks, i find two beers for me. After that i asked about rare strong import beers. They have only one Imperial Porter and one Imperial Stout in the offer, nothing interesting. Salesman ask me then - how many more question do i have, because he don’t have time for phone call. That was really rude.
I simply just asked about some special German craft beers of his choice to make it quick.
Finally - i ordered 5 beers, two of mine choice, and three - choice of the salesman.
What i get? Only one beer that i want and two alkohol-free IPAs (stating to ratebeer - the same beer but with different labels).
For me, as a manager of craft beer shop - that was really unprofessional.
I was totally surprised to find a shop in munich that has such a great selection of beer, especially if you look for tiny little independent local breweries. Very friendly and helpful employees with a lot of passion for their job.
Nice little beer store located not far off from the Hauptbanhof in Munich. Service was good, and although the cashier seemed a bit shy, he was helpful nonetheless and pointed us to the more unusual craft beers. Selection was great ; definitely the highlight of the place. Prices were very fair. I would go back n a heartbeat anytime I’m in Munich.
Small, cozy place. Beers are well displayed by different styles. Main focus is on Bavarian beers (including all kinds of specialities as bockbiers and other seasonals). Next to that, national and international (mostly american) craft beers are offered (a part of the beers ist stored in two refrigerators). Few Belgian beers are offered, too. Bavarian beers are relatively cheap, the internationals are more expensive (for example Sculpin IPA for 5,50 €, some other Americans for about 3 €).
Competent staff members, who found a proper glassware in the warehouse for me, too. :) Thanks again for that!
I’ll definitely visit them again if I’m coming back to Munich one day.

Small place with lots of small Bavarian and US + other international craft beer. If you’re in town and need to get Bavarian stuff, this is among the top places. Nice people, they also know their local beers and can recommend tiny unknown breweries. Bavarian beers are as usual very cheap, and international beers can become a bit pricy - not surprising.
Not too big neither too small, a lots of local beers, but also some good foreign ones, nice atmosphere, quite helpful clerks,
The only negative note, I spent 61,40 euro and they didn’t make neither 0,40 euro discount ;)
And it’s not so easy to park close to it, you must be lucky to find a spot.
Similar to Biervana, yet another store that does not seem to get that beer needs to be kept refrigerated. Especially IPAs and light beers. My rating reflects the lack of refrigeration. Place is too expensive to take a chance on bad beer. One would expect two things from the perfect shop, first that cold chain is maintained during travel, and second that it is kept while in store.
