Okay beer bar with a midtown, happy hour trype vibe. Pretty big, which is nice. Drafts were decent. Clientelle and bartenders didn’t seem too interested in the beer. List was decent enough, not super exciting, but there’s stuff to be found. Didn’t eat, so I can’t comment on the food. Might be a different place at a different time of day, but after work it’s definitely just a generic feeling happy hour spot.

Visited 20160210. Had one beer. Decent tap list but nothing special really. It was 12.00 and place had just opened so there wasn’t many customers.

Decent selection and rotating tap schedule. Menu and food are above average. Service is good for the most part, but staffers tend to get caught up in the weeds during busier times. Their lunch special(s) are absolutely peerless for Midtown East, great value. HH can get a little hectic. Overall, good spot to check out, to-go growlers and cartons are an added bonus.

Too busy during prime time but an excellent place to hang out otherwise. Both selection (beer) and service were excellent - the food menu covered anything a beer tasting would need too.

This place was absolutely bumpin on a Saturday night at 7PM. Unfortunately, the service suffered, but I can forgive that. The selection was pretty good; there was a founders event happening with some one-off stuff I hadn’t seen around. Wouldn’t mind coming back at a less busy time: seems like a pretty chill place to hang out.

Visited on an early Saturday afternoon when it was practically empty. Nice long wooden bar with 36 beews on tap, comprised of mostly American craft beers. More than 120 bottles onthe menu. Separate eating area and nice food menu as well. A good place to visit occasionally.

Found this place to be pretty interesting. Good selection of USA craft on tap - I went on a founders tap takeover might so was pretty pleased. Nothing totally rare on tap but with around 40 tap beers to choose from I was pretty happy. Not a lot of bar space which was annoying but it's a small set up. Definitely pop in for a pint and sport.

We visited Draught 55 for a low key afternoon of watching football and drinking good beer. I was pleasantly surprised how nice the place looked inside, and they had an interesting draft list. I’m not from NY, though, so I can see where the list would be a bit more boring to others. All good beer, but only a couple things on the more special/rare side. Overall, we had a very nice time. I wouldn’t say it’s a *must* visit for you ratebeer readers, but if I lived in the neighborhood it would probably be a nice hangout place. One awkward vibe I felt was the trend that seems to be spreading around - bars putting in a boat load of tap handles with craft beer because it’s ’what’s cool’ or ’what you’re supposed to do’, and not for the sake of having a passion for craft beer and spreading the culture. The bartender/s weren’t very knowledgable about beer. The beer program feels like an afterthought or like one manager puts a decent list together and forgets to train everyone on it.

I dropped in afer lunch on A Friday. A decent selection of drafts and bottles and the staff at the bar was very freindly and had some good suggestions. Food was typical for a bar but good. Maybe not a destination but wo rth a stop if you are in the area.

Re rate: I come here all the time nice rotating selection lots of locals. Food is quite good bar food. They have a baby brunch I bring my son to and he gets to listen to kids tunes and I tick perfect. Finally stopped in on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Handsome bar and friendly bartender. Mozzarella sticks were decent. Lots of drafts and bottles but nothing too exciting. Anyways if something interesting pops on beer menus ill be back
