Now open from 4pm Tue-Wed&Sat. Perched above the railway cutting on the city side of Burke Rd, near Camberwell station. The main room overlooks a great westerly view of the distant CBD of Melbourne. The small enclosed terrace room face north over the rail cutting (separate smokers room). Taps were 5 beers & 1 cider, along with 12 beers & 3 cider bottles, with a mix of local and international offerings. Sparkling, white & red bottles also. Well priced food, with a winter food menu of Cajun, Po’boys & Quesadillas. I had the filling Gumbo bargain. Approachable and freindly staff, who seem to know there stuff. PS. This is the sister/brother bar of Bar None (lounge cocktail bar, wine list, snacks/toasties & beer book) in the basement.

Great place. Hard to find (hint: it’s upstairs and it looks like the door to an apartment), but once you get there it’s great. Barstaff are friendly, beer selection is pretty good for Melbourne and the place is overall just cosy and inviting.
