Bar next to Tokayama JR Station (5min), hidden in an alley behind Toyoko Inn Toyama 1 Hotel. No bottles. Good selection of Japanese (5) and American (1) taps. A bit expensive prices for the high quality beer (starting at 720•/half pint, 1200•/pint). Expensive and strange food menu composed of a mix of Thai, Indian and Spanish recipes. Ordered a 690• sausages plate (disapointing. 2 medium size supermarket-like sausages with ketchup and Dijon mustard). The Spanish food part of the menu looked extremely expensive and "not too spanish" Thereís a 300• cover charge.

Location changed from before and Iíve updated the address, right near barbanco but seems a bit more reasonably priced. 2F location all dark wood with seating for 38 at tables and 5 at the bar. International food (Spain/Thai/Indian) paired with domestic craft beer. A nice enough place.

A great find before heading off to the Alps for a weekís walking. There were 30 bottled beers and one tap. They had a selection of Minoh beers (I love their stout) and an interesting selection with about 6 of the 30 from the US. The other room was full with a group and although I didnít try the food, the dishes looked very tasty! The bar is family run and I found all the servers very friendly and welcoming. In addition, they have great taste in music and I was listening to Radiohead while drinking Minoh stout... David

This was an unexpected find in Toyama while I was at a conference. First off, great owners, and a small but great atmosphere. Food was cheap and great (wide selection of small and large dishes). There is one tap. This time it was the Kinshachi Fruits Draft Lemon, which, yeah. But they change kegs often and have had San Diego IPAís and exciting things. The bottle selection is nice and reasonably priced. Stone IPA was their only import.
