ManVsBeer  (1687) Hebden Bridge, England | July 3, 2013| Updated January 7, 2016
A centrally located pub with a prime location on the small main square. It has popular picnic tables outside its front that are busy throughout the day if the weather is good, although they lose the sun late on. The inside is perhaps more geared towards the locals than the large number of tourists (that pack the outside tables in the summer), but it is fairly large with a slightly modern touch whilst remaining traditional in style. The bar stocks four rotating ales and the local brewer Slightly Foxed often are represented here. Itís also the best place in the town to find Ossett Brewery seasonal and special ales. The building itself backs onto the river but no part of this is utilised for the public. Dogs allowed but a bit on the expensive side for an ordinary looking pub. On warm summer evenings bikers sometimes flock here for a meet. Currently closed due to flood damage in 2015 - It is expected to reopen at some point in 2016.

Locals bar in the centre of Hebden Bridge, there is a large seating area outside the pub and 2 large rooms within. The beer is mostly from nationals and a little staid, but still quite a good place to hang out.
