A centrally located pub with a prime location on the small main square. It has popular picnic tables outside its front that are busy throughout the day if the weather is good, although they lose the sun late on. The inside is perhaps more geared towards the locals than the large number of tourists (that pack the outside tables in the summer), but it is fairly large with a slightly modern touch whilst remaining traditional in style. The bar stocks four rotating ales. The building itself backs onto the river but no part of this is utilised for the public. Dogs allowed but a bit on the expensive side for an ordinary looking pub.

Locals bar in the centre of Hebden Bridge, there is a large seating area outside the pub and 2 large rooms within. The beer is mostly from nationals and a little staid, but still quite a good place to hang out.
