This is a crackin’ beer bar in Bushwick. These guys are doing things right and their experience in the game really shines through. A well curated draft selection that has style diversity and achieves this balance between local breweries and beyond. They’re happy to pour tasters before committing to a full pour but also flights are sold to help get through the list if needed. Bottles available to go as well as growler fills. Bartender Casey is incredibly knowledgeable and open to conversation. There’s a small daily food menu that features cheese and charcuterie. Great hangout.

Love coming by here. Stopped in for the release party of Sixpoint HiRes. Walked in to six people at 7pm. Surprised how small it was, but that mindset was quickly erased when I got to the bar. 20 taps with outstanding options, and an incredible bottle selections. Some of the bottles are a couple bucks higher than other places, but tap prices are right on. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and even offer a bottle share night once a month. The Food is good, with a small selection, but the fat that they serve anything other than chips is a plus. Overall, great selection, stop in, you won’t be dissapointed.

Update: This bar/beer store has improved a lot since it has first opened. First, they have at least two bartenders who are really knowledgeable about beer (Jeremiah and Casey). This is a big improvement, and it shows in their selection and pricing. Second, this is probably the best place in New York to get super local brews. Finback, Singlecut, Bridge & Tunnel, and Transmitter are often on tap here. I have had to add dozens of beers to ratebeer because of this place. Third, their bottle selection is top notch, with everything from Pizza Boy to Mikkeller. Old Rating: Small place with an excellent and esoteric selection of bottles, with some at surprisingly reasonable prices. Bar is also reasonably priced, but the growlers are a bit too expensive. The people who work there are all really nice. One of the guys, Rafael, will rush to people walking in and give them random samples of beer. Sometimes in the middle of drinking a beer, he will pop out of nowhere with a small sample of beer. They also got a bunch of snacks available like beef jerky, chips, and cheese and meat dishes, but these can get expensive. Coffee shop-like art is on the walls, including a bunch of paintings by one of the employees. They constantly get new bottles and new kegs, including some really rare stuff and nano-level micro stuff. For the Manhattan crowd this is going to be a trek, but this place is a very welcome addition to Bushwick and improves my quality of life dramatically.
