If your ever in Macclesfield you must visit this place about a 2 min walk from Station, quite a small pub with 3 keg and 3 cask, decent bottle list that had a Belgian slant, seating for about 30 people, decent pies from Great Northern Pie Company.

Itís tiny, donít go in mob handed. A little too small for my liking but there is nothing wrong with what theyíve done with the space. Just me being a bit claustrophobic (spelling? I tried). The people in there seem cool, always get chatting to someone. Service has always been excellent, canít fault that. The selection isnít extensive or rare but youíve got to be some proper beer snob to not find something. And always local beers on.

This bar occupies all of the small ground floor space in this building part of a terrace row of shops. It packs in quite a few small simple wooden tables and thereís not a huge amount of decor, but itís more than comfortable and friendly with a small selection of locally crafted ales to choose from.
