Bavarian oktoberfest- styled beer- inspired restaurant in old town Tallinn. Waiters dressed in dirndls, wooden long tables with benches. German stuff on the walls. Itís a bit corny and seems touristy, but the prices arenít that bad. A bunch of A.Le Coq variants and some others on tap, a list of international best-sellers and some estonian crafts in bottle. Donít know how often the lists changes, but the beer lists were laminated which makes me think not too often. Food looked nice, didnít try though. Was calm and friendly during lunch time. Thereís some more craft beer- oriented places pretty near by, but if youíre stuck with a company that think those are too stuffy and want a ífunnerí place, this is a much better choice than some of the central old town overpriced holes.

Went here on its opening night. Havenít been back. Wide range of massively-widely distributed international macro, even if theyíre some of the better ones. Did eat, I think, but have no recollection of the food. If you like the wooden Keller feel, this is a pretty decent example. Havenít seen what the crowd can be like though. When youíre the only 2 people in the pub, the service was fine.

Well lit, spacious trying to be cellar-type restaurant in footsteps of old town. Although it looks big, there is very little room. Tables and chairs are clumped together, leaving very little room to maneuver. Staff was sleepy and didnít really pay any attention to me. Had to make meself big to get my beer. Official smell was puke.

German style beer place with well placed signs. Canít be missed if walking close enough. Beer selection was ok, about 25-30 different types and own beer also. Food was ok also.

I came across this German-style bierkeller just as I was passing the Viru Turg market, outside the eastern gate of old town Tallinn. The interior is a bit tacky, with a large banner showing supermodel like beer maids in small outfits, but aside from that the restaurant offers a German-style food menu (I didnít try the food) and ten beers on draft. Though little Estonain, except for A. Le Coq Premium and their own house beer, they did offer Kozel Cerny and Paulaner Mšrzen. Visited on 2013-06-30.
