Atmosphere is a bit plain, but decent enough. German memorabilia and schwag around the place but had the feeling of a family restaurant. Close to 50 beers on tap when I was there and felt although most were in good condition, I couldnít say perfect. Great selection, including German micros (ie. Crew Repulic), even a handful of japanese non-German style beers. Could get smokey. Big food menu, but we already ate before so only my wife had the apple pie, which was average to below average. Not worth a trip unless your are dying for German beers, but I could see coming back with a big group of people. Prices are a tad high but not outrageous. One odd thing, you could buy a liter of Samiclaus, yes Samiclaus, for 3200 yen

Very interesting place. German bar and restaurant. 62 taps on the wall, 38 were on when we went. Most were German imports, with a couple surprises like Aventinus. All except major beers •1250 for 500 ml. A bit high. Tasting sets were cheap Friday until 19:00. Luck to get that. food was good but small portions. Lots of good beers, but the place isnít that big and I wonder if they can sell them before they go off. 1-2 were a bit old. The best thing I thought was 5 Bayern Meister beers. They are hard to find. Nice, but they will need to sell these beers quickly, so they should lower the prices a bit and push for more volume.
