The 3Crow was a refreshing beer change for this little coastal town. There are exceptional beers here from some of my favorite brewers in New England: Allagash, Maine, Smuttynose, and Stillwater. The best sitting location looked like the bar, but we were placed at a regular table behind the stairwell. Too tired to move but the service made up for it with a very good knowledge of their drafts and a couple tastes at the end of dinner. The food was decent and the kitchen accommodated my special diet. The list is not long but it is impressive. Most of the brews are top notch for their style. Their beers are reasonably priced, however the flights were a little overpriced (compare to Lazy Boy samplers). I will frequent 3Crow every time I visited Rockland, and easily recommend it to all craft beer lovers in coastal Maine.

3Crow is a great new bar and restaurant on the busy main street that runs through Rockland. Inside you find a nice, subdued atmosphere that serves as a nice juxtaposition to the chaotic summer crowds flowing by outside. There is a nice long, wooden bar on the left hand side with the tap list clearly stated on the wall. The taps are wooden and sit in front of cool pearl white tiling. On the back wall are various shelves illuminating both glasses and liquor bottles, with a stuffed crow peeking its head out here and there, playing to its name. As they state on both their window and menu, their main focus is on: "Food. Whiskey. Beer." Although beer is last on the list, it truly feels like one of their focal points as they have 14 taps dedicated to unique, flavorful beers, with a nice focus on Maine brews. Located below the taps are even more refrigerated bottles. Among some of the beers I had were Allagash FV 13, Stone RuinTen, Oxbow FPA, Marshall Wharf Weisse Grip, and Oxbow Barrel Aged FPA in a bottle. The two bartenders that poured for me were both friendly and knowledgeable about the beer they were serving. Right now, this is probably the best beer spot in the area (Camden, Rockport, Rockland). I canít wait to go back.
