As I was staying nearby I set up a local (Japan) for local(France) craft trade. The owners are nice guys and the interior is a riot of color with a graffiti reggae vibe. The small front room has 1 table and walls + fridges of beer. A good mix of locals and interesting imports. The backroom has more tables plus 3 taps, they had Westbrook Mexican Cake when I visited and also imported some cool Barcelona craft. A really fun place to visit and hang out, shared beers with the owners, other customers and even the brewer from Crazy Hops there. Very cool.
Visited during Paris Beer Week. A small but vibrant beer store. The selection involved a lot of craft beers mainly from UK, USA, and Scandinavia also some French micros. Came across some bottles of Fifty Fifty eclipse here. I believe they do not have any classic Belgian beers here. They also have a tap room behind the store but you need to consume some food to try the beer on tap. The shopkeeper was friendly and for sure knew his beers. The prices were reasonable for a Paris beer shop. Would like to come back and try some food and the beers on tap the next time.
A small shop with an excellent selection of beers from Europe and North America. Good advice and friendly service. There is a small backrom where you can drink fresh beers, what is quite enjoyable! Good place for both beer geeks and curious amateurs!
This place is excellent. Large selection of French, European, and North American beers. The selection includes things like Cantillon, Beavertown, La Debauche, and To Ol. The place has great ambiance and it is pleasant to drink a few bottles in the back room, where nice music is playing and the walls are playfully decorated. The staff is nice and considerate. The place is not pretentious and seems accessible to even those who are not beer fanatics. Reminds me a little of my local bar in New York, The Sampler (kind of like Bierkraft in Park Slope). Better prices that other Paris bottle shops.
