In a quiet suburban street running north from the norther side of the central can, in the northern suburbs of the central ring, this is very much a music bar with a spartan feel it. On my visit a heavy metal band was due to play, but we were in and out before that happened, however we looked a bit different to the clientele that had started to gather in this very small place. Itís in the middle of a terrace row of brick houses and has an attractive outside that blends in to its surroundings. Inside itís an L shaped room with the bar at the front and a pool table in an elevated area towards the rear behind this. Thereís an open fire here too. Thereís not much room to begin with so when a band has set up thereís only room for a small crowd, so the regular gigs that take place here are very intimate ones. The bottle selection is small but decent for a place this small. Itís a down-to-earth venue with fairly spartan furniture and furnishings.
