Nice little spot in Chester. about the nearest spot to my husbandís job for a decent beer. Small and casual with a warm, woody, and worn look. Decent service. Nice small selection of taps and decent selection of bottles.

My impression was very positive. Itís not a large place. Eight seats @ the bar and about six tables for two. Not a large menu, mostly sandwiches and smaller fare, but very tasty and well presented. There were about 15-20 beers on tap, all kinds, and many more in bottles, plus many more for take out. I will go back, and I recommend that you should check it out. It is also just off of 295.

This place is an oasis in the beer desert of Chester. The 16 taps are all craft. I believe last count was something like 400íish bottles. Food consists of a handful of sandwiches, but the menu was recently revamped to include a good number of quality cheeses and meats - perfect for pairing. Finally (and most importantly), the owners genuinely care about what they do. I love the personal relationships James and Aimee have established with many of their loyal regulars. Chester is lucky to have this place so close.

This is a great little spot. You can clearly see that a lot planning went into this place. Very friendly staff and a nicely curated selection of taps. A flight of 4 decent sized samplers will run you $10. Growler fills are VERY expensive, except if you go on Wednesdays, when they are half-priced. But honestly, for being located in what has historically been a beer desert, they are providing a much needed service to those residents who donít wanna drive an hour to the nearest Whole Foods. And for the uber-beer geeks, they even print out RateBeer score sheets for you to take notes! Never seen a place do that before. Definitely would be my go-to spot if I was a local.

Located in a strip mall off Rt. 10 in Chester. The ambiance is a little dull, but youíre probably going because of the beer. 16 rotating tabs with half being VA breweries. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have a food menu as well, but I didnít eat there. Offer flights of 4 for $10. In addition to the taps, there are about 30-40 bottles. Good to see this new place and wish you all much success. 4/11/2014: Update... some of the tables have been removed to make room for shelving. Currently around 250 different bottles to go.
