Great selection, got some nice gems, local Swiss craft beers. But also has tons of commercial beer rubbish.

Stopped in with my brother. He was living in the Zurich at the time and we did a little site seeing and bar hopping before heading back home. He was excited to tell me that we could drink on the train in this country and that there is a neat liquor store in the train station that we should stop at. I’d agree that they have a good selection, especially for a train station, but almost every beer that I bought was old and messed up in some way. I did get to try some beers from random countries like Estonia and I got to try the Hoegaarden Grand Cru as well as the worlds most hyped doppelbock, but none were in very good shape. I guess that’s what I get for buying beers from a train station. Live and learn. There really wasn’t much in the way of customer service since at that time my Swiss German was so rusty that I had a hard time communicating with the help. Prices were high too. I might stop back in if at that train station again as it’s so convenient but I wouldn’t go out of my way for this place.

Located in the railway station. Small and crowded but very good selection of swiss and international beers. Even found beers from Tahiti and Mongolia.

Great selection, probably the best in town, both for local and for beers from around the world. 3 new countries (Mongolia, Morocco and Cuba - take notice, Americans).

Not that easy to find, or maybe it is just me. Not big, but good selection of Swiss and foreign beers. A new country (Bolivia), and I actually prefer this one to the one in Bern.

Small shop in hauptbahnhof . Large selection of beers, very good Swiss collection. Helpful staff, aiding me in getting the best from Switserland. Some of the best micros available.
A must if you are in Zürich

Great little bottle shop in the underground level of Zurich HB train station. Staff very friendly and really lots and lots of beers. I got new countries Hong Kong and Kosovo and a nice Swiss beer. Pricing was fair enough, considering Switzerland.

(Visited in 11/2011): This Drinks of the World location is in the Zürich Hauptbahnhof (Central train station).
The interior is small, borderline cramped but well-organized with beers located on shelves and in coolers.
Pleasantly surprising selection of regional beers from Belgium and Switzerland. Also a decent amount of singles, as well as a few gift sets. A few examples include Turbinen, Sternen, Tschlin and many others. Some "imports" from the USA as well, but mostly larger microbreweries like Flying Dog. They even had Duff.
Service was friendly and no issues given the language barrier.
Overall we started off our vacation with quite a haul to take home. Worth a stop for any beer lover visiting Zürich

Stock rotates regularly. Mostly mainstream beers, but some nice finds here as well. Slightly pricy for quantity. Probably the best brick&mortar for beer in Zurich.
