If you think walking the steps along SOHO without pedestrian escalator is hard enough, then the steep, grid-like streets south of Sai Ying Pun is simply treacherous. This store took me some reall effort to walk uphill (well there is escalator midway through) like climbling Everest, but it’s worth it: It is spacier than the cramped sideway store on Elgin Street (SOHO), and beside its main forte in wine and champagne, its beer selection is quite impressive for the area not know for buying craft brews. Majority of them are from the States (North Coast, Lost Coast, etc.) as well as several more from Europe and Japan. Prices are expensive compares to the likes of Craftissmo and The Bottle Shop, but for certain brews which are exclusive to this store chain, as wel as quenching your thirst with a few good micros, it’s still worth it.
