Great place. Local, relatively small breweries on the 32 taps. Food includes soft pretzels and sausages.

Iíve been here a couple times since they opened, once during beer week and another just a couple days ago. Itís a nice place right outside the Temescal section of Oakland, so thereís other stuff to do in the area which is nice. It has a very open floor plan with a medium sized bar and several long, communal tables. The service both times was superb even on a very busy night during beer week. Even the girl who brought our drinks (not our waitress) was extremely knowledgeable. Not only did she tell us about the beers, but all about the brewers. I was very impressed. The taplist was also really really good. Lotís of locals, but locals that you donít usually see anywhere else, at least in the East Bay like Cellarmaker, Magnolia and Craftsman. Lotís of one offs even on the non beer week day I was there. The food was pretty good but very expensive. Not sure I would eat here again, but Iíll come for the beers any chance I get.

Lots of great beer trending towards the hoppy side of things. Service and ambiance are nice, but it does get busy. The food is really good but it is very rich and you better like meat. Prices are pretty decent.

Well, I tried to come here before going to the Rare Barrel, only to realize I should check the hours better because it didnít open until 5. So, I came back later and was kind of glad to be able to relax and have what I figured would be some good beers. Kind of a hip/trendy gastropub style restaurant. But, they have a ton of great beers on tap. At least a few sour beers on tap, lots of good hoppy beers, and seemingly a whoís who of in demand breweries on the list. Service was good even though it was fairly crowded. Food is not cheap, but certainly seemed excellent. Highly recommended.

Located in the trendy Temescal neighborhood this restaurant has a lot of great beers on tap. Believe me, you will not be disappointed! There is also a short but excellent menu of small plates, large plates and sandwiches. This place just opened a few days ago and already attracts huge crowds, Get there early or prepare to wait a while.
