This seemed like as good a place as any to stop for a late lunch before hiking all the way down to NOLA Brewing and a few other places out that way. I hate to rate this place poorly since it’s actually a nice place to eat and hang out but you won’t find much in the way of good beer here. Abita, Dixie, and Lazy Magnolia bottles are advertised on the menu along side the macros so at least you can get a Jockamo IPA. They have a couple of imports too but they’re things like Heineken, Corona, Red Stripe, Stella, Spaten, etc. I’ll admit that the Dixie Blackened Voodoo wasn’t bad with my cup of jambalaya, but I could think of a dozen beers I’d rather have at that moment. The red beans and rice were good as was the jambalaya so I have no complaints there. The service was good too. Not really a beer destination but since this is in the database already you might as well go there and get a cup of gumbo.

I tried to squeeze as much Louisiana into this picture as I could:

A reasonable selection of beer, but the staff know little to nothing about beer. The food is incredible and the music and ambiance are great.
