Stopped in for lunch on the way to the airport. Big place, lots of room. All the beers were San Diego, around 20 on tap. Had a few samplers, just to try a few we had not tried thru the week. Service was very good, food was good as well. Great view of downtown and the airport. Worth the stop if you are in the area.

The Brew Project is the beer part of this and itís been merged in with the wine bar that is 57 Degrees. From the sounds of it itís two separate businesses but itís not clear if itís two separate owners or how that works. Itís kind of irrelevant really since they share a bar and they seem to be doing fine together. Their claim that every tap is a local beer is true. Iíve actually been wondering when a place like this was going to open. My guess is that the wine bar pays the bills and the beer side is just using the free rent as I saw more people drinking wine than beer. I didnít care much as we played pool for free and drank some peanut butter stout from Belching Beaver.
The service was friendly enough and offered flights of 5 which was a good option for beerjames who hadnít tried all the locals before. Prices on food were a bit high but good otherwise. We got a couple of different appetizers and ate them as we embarrassed ourselves shooting pool. Hancock Street is pretty quiet so parking is easy too, or just take hte tram and walk a block. Cool bar, just no ticks for me and not in an area that I visit often but if I was going to be in the area Iíd gladly stop back in.
