Saffron is my favorite restaurant in Minneapolis, and I enter this review for the purpose of recommending it to out of towners who care as much about food as they do beer. Samiís menu is inventive and expertly executed, spanning the whole spectrum of traditional and non traditional Mediterranean cuisines. Robb Jones the bar manager is one of the premier cocktail minds in the Midwest. These things are what make Saffron a canít miss food and drink destination in Minneapolis.
Now, as for beer: there are six craft taps that rotate seasonally, and while there are twelve lines, there will never be more than the six taps, doubled up. This list is generally stylistically as diverse as it is able. In close proximity to Haute Dish, an excellent beer stop downtown.
