The food is the main draw at this recently opened location for FlipSide. If you are not familiar with their menu it is burgers topped with ham, BBQ, and all other sorts of things. Couple that with a reasonably nice beer list and you have a good restaurant just down the street from Chuck’s Fine Wines.
A typical tap list includes about seven to nine Ohio beers with seasonal Great Lakes as a reliable fallback. The others are often West Coast IPAs or other known brands such as Revolution. Pints run between $6.00 and $8.00 on average.
Parking and foot traffic may be the biggest problems. With limited street parking you may be best served going across the street by the Falls. During the weekday the wait time is not bad but at peak times (typically Friday nights and Saturdays) it can feel crowded. All of that said if you have a few hours to kill you can easily combine this with a trip to Chuck’s, Red Wine and Brew, and Lizardville (depending from which direction you are coming).
