Cool little shop that does counter-pressure growler fills for takeaway. We filled a couple to go and there is a nice selection of Oz and Kiwi micros as expected, but it was good to see some Italian and Belgian options in the mix too. You need to be a little patient when there’s a queue as it is a slow process to fill, but at least you know you’re getting a growler in its best condition. The guy working was great though and poured tasters for anyone who wanted to try before they buy. Full glass pours can also be purchased and there’s limited seating outside the shop. It’s well worth supporting this place.

Growler station that reminds me of home. Back in the states Growlers are the thing. This place not only offers that, it also has unique system to fill almost any size under CO2 pressure and it apparently lasts months (like you are gonna wait haha!!) Reasonable prices and 20 taps to chose from. Thanks Dorian for the tip on Russian beers.

[11/13] A growler station near Sth Yarra station. A few weeks open. Counter pressure fills of their normal, squealer and tiny growlers. 15 beer and cider taps. More to come soon, apparently. Redolent of the tropes of the professional services industry. Heavily branded in an attempt to own and promote the key driver of this mode of delivery in the opportunity space going forward. And yes, the beer is fresh and good. Selection skews towards the more approachable, but there are some adventurous things too - a balance that’s pretty much what I’m after. [64]

A more relaxed vibe now. A handful of cans available, but the focus is on being good at growlers and they are. Usually half a dozen or more beers on that I’m interested in trying or having again. Prices are good, particularly for the local stuff.
