Stopped in this past weekend to check out the newest BJís location in San Diego. This is a very large, loud restaurant, with tasteful decor and lots of big TVs all over the place. Beer selection is primarily BJís stuff with only a few "guest" beers which were pretty unimpressive. Food was tasty and a good value, and the service was very good. Overall very nice.

This is a relatively new location in Mission Valley located in the Hazard Center (shopping center). Very typical BJís set up: busy, large restaurant, a very nice counter top on the bar, the half a dozen taps dedicated to house beers, and another dozen guest taps, and menu of Belgian bottles in addition to some of the house beers in bottles (the Grand Cru is now being bottled). Right now they have the DIPA and the Grand Cru on as well as the pumpkin beer for seasonals. Didnít look at the food menu but I can only assume that itís the same as the rest of the locations. Parking is easy in the large shopping center and itís across the street from a trolley station. It wouldnít be my go to place but considering the access to public transit Iíd stop in for a beer again some time (if I had business in the area).
