Given that there are few other pubs in north Juneau (downtown being more than 10 miles away) I decided to pay this almost unrated place a visit. From the outside it looked like a regular American sports bar and that is exactly what it is. I found a spot at the bar, with televisions, hanging on all four walls, blaring out sports results, hardly making it above the general noise. The bar offered 8 beers on tap, including the obvious Bud Light, Stella and Guinness, but they had a few craft beers too, from Ninkasi, Alaskan and Elysian. No bottles though, so selection was very limited. Overall this is not a place worth going to, unless A) You care deeply for sports or B) You happen to be in the area with no means of getting to downtown Juneau. Visited: 2014-07-26.

Been here several times and as I live in the valley, most of the time, I’d rather go here than the downtown (probably I’m turning into a local), haha, oh well, anyways: the ambiance well, I’ve been there during football season and they got a nice selection of beers ranging from Ninkasi, Elysian, Alaskan Brewing Company, and Midnight Sun. Service keeps up with the football atmosphere. The selection, well, that was already noted. The food, wow, from the steak salad to the pastrami sandwiches to the fried shrimp dinner. These guys don’t make bad food. The value, well, since its not downtown and tries to cater to the locals, its probably just a tad better. To the tourists who want to get away from the typical "downtown touristy" joints, take the cab to come here to meet me or any of the locals.
