Pub off Bethnal Green Road, on the walk up to Shoreditch. Old school boozer, converted into a slightly trendier looking cask and craft beer venue with a range of 15-20 taps and a decent bottle list. Interior is cool and strikes the right balance between old fashioned pub and minimally decorated craft bar. Very good range of beers on tap and they offer third of pints. Bar staff are usually either beautiful or hipster, but friendly and helpful. Will visit regularly when in this part of town.

A feasible sized local like pub that has been updated. Cozy and comfortable. Good service and selection of beers, prices are decent. Worth a stop with so many other things in the area.

Visited with lots of friend on this great friday. Great selection of beers on tap as well as bottles. Friendly and seviceminded staff. You can have third pints, which is great with the selection they have at this cosy pub. They do pubfood as well, but didn’t eat this time. Will be back :D...

On the edge of a housing estate - not really a lot going on around here and a tourist would certainly not stumble across this pub. Great beer list, friendly staff. What can I say? Far better than expected. I strongly recommend it.

Great neighborhood pub in Shoreditch a short walk east of BrewDog and Well & Bucket. Clean and modern feel. Very similar to sister pub Earl of Essex though Kings Arms seems to have more adventurous beers on draft. Draft and bottle selections are both very good with decent prices and all draft beers are offered in thirds.

Functional modernised pub with a square bar. About 20 or so craft beers, the focus is on keg but a very decent cask lineup as well. Breweries such as Camden Town, Magic Rock, Mikkeller and Arbor are available. Expect two German beers on tap as well, usually a hefe and a pils.

We visited here on Sunday 20th April 2014. It was a shortish walk along Bethnal Green Road fron Brewdog Shoreditch and the Well & Bucket and as I wandered it reminded me a little of that walk from the Nothern Quarter in Manchester to where the Winter Bee Festival was held along Oldham Road. Anyway back to the pub, it is on a side street just off of Bethnal Green Road and sits on corner. You enter via a door on the corner and the bar sits in front of you a large square island bar with a narrowish strip around three sides with tables and chairs opening out somewhat at the back. The glistening identical taps tell you nothing you need to head over to the back wall to view what beers are on offer, although I did then also notice up to date lists scattered around on the tables. Decorwise this has that sort of National Trust green, it is very smart, tidy but you kind of get the feeling it needs a few scruffy cushionson seats and just one or two other things to soften the slight sterility. The beer choice was exceptional, I had Wild/Beavertown - Maximus Rubus and Loz had Magic Rock/Toccamalto - Custard Pie both great in particular the Rubus was superb. The youngish girl who served us was friendly and helpful. I thnk that this is a great addition to the area and easily beats anything local for beer choice, it just needs a few more bodies in here (was quiet today) and needs a little scruffing up.

Really solid pub. Great range of beers on both cask and keg, in addition to bottles. Very good value and 1/3 pours available. Pretty friendly staff. Nice ambiance, although a bit dark at night. Definitely worth a trip here.

Visited during their Mikkeller tap takeover event. Sort of an awkward location in Bethnal Green. Similar ambiance to The Earl of Essex. Understated, dark space. The place was rammed, but the staff seemed to be working pretty hard to keep customers happy. 20 quality taps and a decent bottle list. The value was totally fine considering that a bunch of Mikkeller exclusives were on tap. Overall, definitely a place I’d visit over BD Shoreditch.
