80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20
For those who donít know, when entering a bar in Utah, youíre supposed to present your ID. This isnít necessarily uncommon in other states, but itís serious business here, and Iím usually not accustomed to doing it at a restaurant type place...usually only at a place that only serves liquor and usually only in the evenings. I practically got chased down by one of the employees here because I (unwittingly) just walked into a bar without presenting my ID. She seemed pretty hostile about it, even though I apologized and explained that Iím not used to the custom. Oh well, fun way to start the visit.
Anyway, seems to be a new-ish bar in the downtown area. Nice place, sort of a retro feel to it. Booths on the outside, opposite the bar with some long communal type tables in the middle. Pretty hip, happening crowd and a pretty packed house during my visit.
Tons of drafts and bottles to choose from here. The list wasnít quite as interesting as some other places, but some stuff from Moab and a couple other breweries that were sort of uncommon around town. Pretty decent service and prices as well.
All in all, a neat place and I recommend a visit...just make sure to have your ID ready.

A nice addition to the SLC beer scene. A nice long bar with plenty of seating. Most of the beers on tap are locals, with only a few macros. A nice bottle list. The service, food and prices were all good.
