Stopped in for lunch on a weekday. This place is pretty awesome actually. The location is very relaxing and picturesque as it’s situated right on the bay next to a harbour with lots of docked boats. Inside is a very small bar with some tables and chairs but it has a large deck outside that makes for a nice place to eat and drink. The food was very tasty. I’m not an expert on German food, but the bratwurst was satisfying and flavorful. Of course, the beers are all German. There were a few drafts that I didn’t recognize and several that I did. They had a kellerbier on and one of my favorites, Schonramer Saphir Bock. A few from Andechs as well. The service was very pleasant and attentive. Overall, this was a step below Gourmet Haus Staudt in Redwood City, but I’m excited to have a place like this closer to my normal route.
