A bit boring to visit but the grounds and brewery area are very interesting. I was in the area for Copenhagen beer festival. The Carlsberg beer on tap is sufficient if you need a beer but go elsewhere. Gift shop was boring...

Lots of old stuff - as in wood, copper and hay. Awful beers on tap. A few Jacobsen Limited Releases to be bought in the giftshop. Meh...

I saw this place with my Copenhagen card so it was free but after hearing good things I was kind of disappointed. The stables are nice, the buildings a cool old brewery but the displays where fairly simple(though the massive old equipment was impressive). The bottle collection was glassed in so you couldn’t actually wander the aisles to see all of them plus they were mostly Carlsberg/Tuborg so now that special. The free beers are only draft, so the selection is limited but bottles to go from the gift shop seemed cheap though not all that appetizing & the rest of the stuff was their usually free promo material for sale so what’s the point?

Prisvärt besök, speciellt eftersom vi plankade in.

Being from Belgium, I visited a lot of breweries, and I never came across such an interesting and well accomodated visitor centre. a Must DO when in Copenhagen.

Must say we had a little luck on this tour. But first the bad news - The entry is overpriced! Interesting to view the old bottles which can give you some ideas what to try one day. The tour we had was a standard one but since noone else turned up we ended up 3 people and that enabled us that we saw a bit more than the rather standard stuff most tourist can see. So that was a good experience. Selection in the bar was ok but then again for such an expensive entry I expect to be allowed to try at least any beer on display for free and be it only one thus my rating under "selection".

Yawn! You pay 10€ and You are allowed to have a short look at the brewery’s history, to have a short look at thousands of old dusty beer bottles and to see Carlsberg’s heavy horses in their stables. In the end, before You can buy not necessary souvenirs at the shop, You’ll get two pretty horrible beers "for free". There are better places in wonderful Copenhagen…

Nice and interesting museum. Limited selection in the bar, but nice to be able to watch the Jacobsen Brewery from above.

Visited July 10th. Large bar area with no personal touch. Windows so you can see the brewery. OK tour of the place with decent beer in the end.

The visitors centre tells the Carlsberg story by means of posters, videos, brewing material and a look of the horses. The brewhouse can only be visited on guided tours and is not all that interesting. The copper kettles in the tasting room do however look good and there is a place where you can try various aromas. The tasting room is quite large with a lot of tables and chares. Quite modern. It holds a large bar where you can taste beers from tap or bottled beer. Friendly staff that are well educated. There is also a shop where you can buy all the tourist stuff you will need.
