Iíve been to several Binnysí, but the one closest to my house is their smallest. It is usually the most expensive ;iquor store in Hyde Paek, unless you have a Binnís card and can take advantage of specials. If you want cheap popularl beer, drive south to Kenwood Liquors on Stony Island and 88th. If you want a beeter selction of 6 or 12-paks, check out KImbark, 6 blocks west. However, this place has a great selection given the space, with amany singles I canít find without driving to the suburbs, Indiana, or the expensive parking zones of Chicago.

This is the holy grail beer store in the Hyde Park area. The selection is nowhere near as large as other Binnyís stores, but if you missed a recent release, these guys probably still have it on the shelf. In addition, the staff is very friendly and helpfully knowledgeable with the beer selection.

This is the smallest Binnyís Iíve been too. A decent selection of stuff but not as robust as most locations, on par with Oak Park. The quality is done from the other locations as its more cheaper stuff to probably appeal to the crowd. No reason to come here unless you live really close.

For Hyde Park this place is pretty decent. They have a fair amount of crafts and imports. Selection isnít too spectacular, though. Certainly at least average, but there is some stuff that you would have better luck finding at Kimbark down the street. The place is pretty cramped and the beer aisle isnít as well organized as it could be. They seem like they have a decent amount of turnover because stuff does seem to disappear from their shelves. Staff has always been courteous. Pricing is pretty fair and you get some discounts with the membership card. I think the biggest drawbacks are the cramped aisles and the mediocre selection.

Not the biggest Binnys in Chicago, but it has a relatively good selection and theyíll order whatever you want as long as its not too crazy. The aisles are cramped and there is not a lot that they keep cold, so if you want to run by here just before a party or gathering to pick up some last minute supplies, you will find yourself limited by a small range of choices.

This was a very small location with a limited, but decent beer selection. Aisles are tight, but they squeeze in as much stuff as they can. The beer manager was knowledgable and friendly. I walked out of there with a couple beers that I wasnít able to find elsewhere, perhaps due to slow turnover as this store isnít as frequently visited as others. Not bad.

Tight space, limited selection. Very scant offerings from regional breweries compared to other area stores (Bells, Founders, etc.) Also missing a few from Victory and no Jolly Pumpkin anywhere. When I asked the guy working the store if they had any Jolly Pumpkin, he told me it was seasonal. I told him that may be true for some of their offerings, but there should be something available. He pretended he didnít hear me, that he thought I said "Lolly Pumpkin." His next reply was "no." Waste of time.

This is pretty much the coolest liquor store Iíve been too, mostly because nothing turns over. There was still Dark Lord last time I was there, as well as a ton of Breakfast stout. Basically, I just like this one because itís nearby and has as good a selection as the downtown location.

Very nice selection for a neighborhood beer store. The buyer makes sure to stock all the new and interesting beers of the Midwest they can--so this is a great source for things like 3Floyds Dark Lord and Founders Breakfast stout. Selection of imports is also solid, with trappists well represented, and a smattering of interesting English brew. Staff is quite knowledgeable and friendly--in addition to beer, they can steer you to the right wine or whisk(e)y.
