Honestly, even though this place has the best selection of beer in NEPA, 200+ bottles and a nice draft list, this just doesnít have a good beer bar ambiance. Iíve been to places with much smaller beer lists but had a much better experience (ie: blind tiger in NYC and Eulogy in Philly). The staff seems to be mainly college girls who probably only drink Natty Ice and have know proper knowledge of a good pour or glassware. Honestly give me a list with 20 good beers served properly and Iíd take it over this place.

Huge place, but almost always very very loud. Food is always solid, nothing earth shattering, but never had anything bad. Their selection is second to none for a restaurant in NEPA. Draft list is huge, and a fantastic selection of bottles. Staff turnover is VERY high so service can be hit or miss at times. Oh and cant forget the best $2 happy hour i have been to!

There have been a good selection of beers, but the ones on draft come in very heavy glasses with not much liquid in them. The bottle selection (at least that at the table) was mediocre at best. Our beers came out separately and I was served a double bock that was more a flemish sour. There were 4 of us and all four meals came out separetly. My daughter ordered a fondue that may have been one of the worst things I have eaten. We will not be returning to this establishment and were thoroughly disappointed.

This place varies from time to time, but has really turned into a college hang out most nights (at least the nights I have been there). The service is decent, but I am not really the ďcrowdĒ they are looking to impress. The selection (like the crowd) differs and can be really good sometimes and mediocre others. Overall this place is decent considering the above facts; it is a place I hit up when I visit my folk (but only because they have no competition)
**Note this place was great when it was in itís old location, but a lot more than the location changed***

Probably the best beer place to stop in NEPA, the Arena tends to showcase both standard solid Belgians and plenty of PA / NY locals. Always something interesting and new (at least to me). Excellent food, generally, if a bit pricey. $2 drafts during happy hour are a great deal, and draft / bottle prices in general tend to be very reasonable (unless youíre looking for something like a magnum of Chimay). The crowd tends to be the sort of people I didnít care much for in high school (I inevitably see someone from high school every time I go there, and then I simply pass by as though Iím a stranger, not from around here). Can get smoky, loud, and busy on the weekends, but overall lots of good food and excellent beer. Most recent trip: Tripel Karmeliet and De Dolle Dulle Teve bottles.

I stopped in on a Wednesday at the start of happy hour, and it was packed. Parking was limited as well. This seems to be the hot spot for locals, and the place is pretty loud when itís busy. Interior is your typical sports bar typical ambiance. Happy hour specials are outstanding- $2 drafts (with a few exceptions) and $2 appetizers. I had 4 drafts and two appetizers and my bill was $12! Selection is good on draft and bottles, especially when you consider that you are not in a major metropolitan area. I had wings, which were decent. They do allow smoking if that bothers you. I would definitely hit this place again if I am in the area. This place has strange hours (closed monday and tuesday- WTF?), so make sure they are open before you make a trip over.

tap selection was outstanding, as was the service. Atmosphere is a bigbar noisy place but it was still a good time. Food was average, but it didnít matter because .....itís all about the beer.

Locally, the best bar in the area. 50 rotating drafts and a great bottle selection. The food is fantastic and the service is excelent. The only downfall is limited parking when it is busy.
