Rather large brewpub/restaurant in the heart of Nijmegen, very close to the Grote Markt. Went there for lunch on a national holiday and it was not crowded at all. Inside it is very clean and a bit minimalistic but still very appealing. We sat outside on the rather large patio in the lovely backyard which offers seats in the sun and in the shadow under a big tree. A dozen of their beers are on tap, it is possible to order tasting flights of either six or ten of their beers (which you cannot select by yourself) for a very reasonable price. Some bottles can be taken home as well. Food was at least decent, there was no reason to complain about. Prices for the food were reasonable, too. The staff was contributing to the relaxed atmosphere by being attentive and friendly rather than obtrusive and they seemed to know what they were serving. The audience is very mixed by the way, young and old people were enjoying the sun as this is a place where you can go with your whole family. I really enjoyed my visit here, may have been the epic wetaher as well, but make sure you go here if you are in town.
Expansive central venue with many different rooms and a decent terrace for sunny days. Visited on a Thursday around lunchtime and it seemed fairly popular with the blue rinse local crowd, quite the opposite of the more hipster style Oersoep bar. They do reasonable priced tasting flights which was super handy for a flying tick ’n run visit, though I would have happily spent longer there. Service was friendly and knowledgeable about their selection.

Ideal place for having lunch with a beer. Excellent food and decent beers. Enough places to sit indoors and out.
Very nice and interesting location. Sat on the large terrace. I had three satisfying beers and an excellent burger. It’s too bad that the waiters were terribly slow in responding to my need for more beer, I only had time for three while I was counting on having at least five of their brews. Will return here when I am in town.

Nice cafe where you can drink good Hemel beer on the tap. The food / snacks are very tasty. Prices are okay. Especially nice in the summer on the terrace. Beautiful building in a beautiful location.
About 1km from the Centra train station but quite difficult to find. Even when I reached the alley I didn’t know which door to open. Place was packed on a Saturday evening, choosing the beers to buy is self service so no one bothered me with that, offering to help etc, which is good. Nice atmosphere inside, barman wasas friendly as needed. Moslty their own beers and a couple of low alcohol in bottles as the exception. I saw two ladies with around 6 short glasses of beer in front of them so maybe they do flights as well, I didn’t ask. Food seems okay, I didn’t have any. Prices are good for the beers on tap but ridiculous for the bottles. Toilets were ultra clean. I would visit again.
