Stayed in Copenhagen just a close walk from this place. I walked by and noticed a nice but relatively small selection, and stopped in. Upon arrival, the lady behind the counter immediately welcomed by offering a free sample of a local lager...a pretty generous pour too. I left with two beers that cost about $7 US, which to me seems relatively cheap considering I went next door for two coffees and a sandwich, which cost $22 US. From a variety standpoint, they had many Danish offerings which I haven’t heard of, as well as some hard-to-find US offerings (including a 2012 BCBS vintage). Definitely a nice place.

Cozy beershop in a basement close to Nørrebor bryghus. Nice selection of English, Danish and US beers at fair prices. Always worth a visit and nice to enjoy a draught beer when searching for new beers. Great service from the friendly owner. Only negativ things about Høkeren is that the owner smokes in the store.

Good selection of mostly Danish and American beer, some Belgian and British as well. Some cider as well.
You’ll always find yourself browsing with a beer in your hand, offered by the owner.
Service is really good as are the prices.

Small basement beer shop.
Good selection, mostly microbrews. Prices are decent, and selection also has highend stuff.
The lady is nice, and offers you a beer while you are shopping for beer!

A shop that offers you a beervwhile you browse is one I want to visit again! Another basement bar/shop with a good selection of Danish brews, some American and pan-European stuff too. Average prices but I was able to pick up Bourbon County Stout so I left happy.

Clean and impressive basement store, the manager was knowledgeable and though she seemed reserved at first, was actually very friendly. Good selection of Danish and import beers, at prices that are good by Copenhagen standards. No credit/debit cards - it’s cash or Danish e-cash cards only.

Visited 02-MAR-2013 with Sonni. Had discount coupons giving 50% off all beer. And the prices are fine even without discount. Now we got Bourbon County Stout for 37 Dkr. :-)
Nice selection of Danish and foreign brews.
Unfortunately owners and guests smoke inside the small basement.
Worth a visit if you live nearby. Else go to one of the other and better shops in Copenhagen.

I think this is the smallest bottle shop in Copenhagen, with a little bit of different selection that the other ones. The lady behind the counter poured us free beer from a tap in the back room while we visited, and even gave us a couple of free beers to go when we left. That is great service in my book.

Small bottle shop in the heart of Nørrebro. Best bang for the buck in town, prices are very good. The selection is part Danish micros, esp. Refsvindinge, Hornbeer, Beer Here, Evil Twin, Amager, and local Sjælland breweries, and also some of the Drikkeriget imports as well as a few Belgians. You can get free beer as you are shopping, which is nice, but the manager isn’t very friendly and doesn’t really seem like she enjoys working. But I go here for the prices.

Hidden away near Nørrebro. Nice lady workin there, offering us 2 free glasses of beer while shopping around in the cosy store. Not the wildes selection, but some nice stuff from Alesmith, Southern Tier, Port Brewing/Lost Abbey, Det Lille Bryggeri, Evil Twin and Hornbeer. Also some spirits. This was a nice and quiet shop during the CBC-weekend, when BW and Ølbutikken was crowded. Great stuff, good prices.
