Located in a lane leading to the Markt, this place is a cramped but cozy restaurant with a long bar and an impressive selection of bottled beers. There are a few taps, too, but they feature the known Belgian macros, like Leffe. The staff are friendly but rather absent-minded and no experts in beer. The food, however, is simply goregeous. Not very exoensive. Might be back for dinner one of the coming days :-)

Large bar set in an old building in beautiful bruges. Sat at the bar and had a westy 8 (for under 10 euro) and a plate of pasta with shrimp. The beer was delicious and even though it was a little pricey, not a total gouge. The food was very heavy but I enjoyed it. Overall I would head back if I was in bruges for the nice selection of delicious brews.

Very popular with tourists as it always seem to be full. I managed to be there early one day, to try the food and check out the beer selection. The food was decent, the beer selection not (in particular for Bruges). The three girls that worked the bar when I was there seemed to lack even the most basic knowledge of Belgian ales, and the draft beers were mostly of the industrial kind. The bottle beer menu looked more promising, but they were out of whatever I asked for. Last visited: 2013-04-22

Large selection of beer in a color coded menu. Food was good. We went in the late afternoon for an early dinner and the service was fine. Slightly price but not bad.

Good Belgian beers, good food, but it’s an expensive restaurant. The service not so good, not friendly at all.

A bit contrived (generic beer cafe decor) and touristy but reasonably priced considering it’s location. Service can be a bit unenthusiastic. Possibly the biggest, if not the most interesting, beer menu in town.Food is good.Badly let down by all the empty reserved tables.
