86 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 18/20
Surprisingly fun place, which we visited twice in one day. The food is ridiculously good and probably the best Iíve had in Franconia...both lunch and dinner were shockingly flavorful and well-cooked (tender meat, crisp veggies, very aromatic/spicy sauces, etc.). Good selection of beers too, although the quality is very hit-and-miss with this brewery, ranging from terrible to very good and everything in between. Pleasant staff, some of which speak ample English to help a little bit with the food menu. Mixed six-packs of beer to go, nice ambience, etc. Probably the only drawback is it can be a bit pricy (my lunch was around 20 euro). But considering the quality of the food destroys pretty much anything else Iíve had in Bavaria, thatís ok.
