We visit this charming shop about 2-3 times a year. We think the selections is usually pretty good considering the area is not a huge metropolitan area. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. We have been fortunate to find beers here that we can’t get in Georgia like Troegs, Firestone Walker and Ballast Point. We’ve gotten sonel lovely Virginia Ciders and wines here too. They have beer and wine tastings weekly.

There’s not a lot of choices around the area and this is certaintly one of the better ones. The prices are all over the place and not a whole lot of rarities to be found, but some selections you can’t find anywhere else remotely close. The staff are also very friendly and can try to order anything you’re looking for. If you live close by this shop is fantastic. If you’re in for the speedway or other reasons this is definitely worth a stop.

I understand this is pretty much it in Bristol, and I’m inclined to believe it. I found parking freakishly easy but I was probably luck. Big, open store with beer in the back as well as a large wine room, some food items, cosmetics and other random stuff. Some good beer selections, though it seems a bit spotty and there are certainly no rarities. Prices seemed all over the place. Some items were very reasonable, and some were astronomically expensive. like a Sam Adams LongShot 6 packed MARKED DOWN to $16, from $24. No wonder it didn’t sell. The only employee I saw was pleasant but didn’t seem too knowledgeable about the beer.

An oasis in the middle of a beer desert, Inari wines has quite a good selection of beers, and for wine people they are very supportive and knowledgeable about beers. We are in the area about once a year and always find beers that are new to us to sample.

Wow, I was blown away by this place. I was expecting a very limited beer selection, maybe a shelf or two. The guy has stocked up four large wire racks with various brews. Everything is available in singles. The great thing about this is that beers which are not available in TN, NC, SC, or GA are available here: notably Troegs and Smuttynose. I picked up a bomber of Double Bastard for $6.13. The owner is not overly knowledgeable about beer, but he doesn’t claim to be. He is easy going and as helpful as he can be. He offered to order stuff from the distributor for me since he can get so much stuff it won’t all fit on the shelves. Excellent selection, excellent service, excellent prices. This blows away any shop in TN and is only 5 minutes from the border.

I concur with nick76. When in Bristol, this is your only hope. They have an excellent build your own six pack situation. It seems that about everything they sell can be broken into a make your own. This is the only place in the area that I could find Tröegs. A fairly good selection of Belgians for this region also. UPDATE 9/07: Inari has moved to a new location in downtown Bristol on Piedmont Ave. Larger space and way better selection. Lots of Magic Hat, Brooklyn, DFH, Tröegs, Meantime. While it is principally a wine shop, any beer they sell can be purchased a s a single. Very friendly owners staff the place. It’s quite surprising that a shop of this quality exists in Bristol.

This is a really small wine and beer store but they have the best selection in Bristol. They usually have well stocked coolers with cheese and gourmet snakes as well as a few wines and beers. For a shop this size they have a killer selection.
