Nice little place in the bar district, decent pub grub and rotating taps. Build your own flight option a nice touch.

Yes sir! Had the honor of visiting the Front Door with a few locals (they know who they are). Love the home-y almost intimate feel of this place this cool winterís day. We hopped up onto tall stools at a bar height round table to take in the tap list and enjoy some beer. What!?!? The tap list has like six barleywines as well as a craft brew malt liquor. Good gravy. Loviní it. This place rocks! Awesome place, small place that I would guess gets over crowded easy. How can it not with its atmosphere and tap selection. I would love to come back. I think going out of your way and dealing with downtown parking might be worth it to stop by here. I will.

I recently went to their grand teton brewers night dinner. This was the best meal I have ever had in my life. I donít say that without meaning it. My first time in this bar I couldnít get out quick enough simply because the amount of eragance in the place. It turned out it was just the bartender that night a couple years ago. Since then it has been top notch.... I suggest you try the pulled pork or find a dish with the peanutbutter mashed potatos. Amazing.... They have a desire to grow a strong beer community here in Boise and that is great... --------- UPDATE--I have been to 6+ beer pairing dinners here now over the past 2 years and LOVE this place. Staff is a ton better in the service department....

Great selection of imports. Pizza was good. Pretty expensive.

The best place to stop at for a Pie and good brew. They have a great selection that moves around pretty fast. The Pizza is very tasty.

The Front Door has by far the best beer selection in Boise. Their taps are constantly rotating and they always seem to be the only place in town to carry certain specialty and seasonal brews (Deschutesí The Dissident and Laughing Dogís Dogfather just arrived this week). They always have lots of Belgian bottles on hand as well. The pizza and sandwiches are great too, but itís always the beer that brings me in!

Best value for huge beer selection. Food is pizza and salad and is well made and flavorful. Not real big but cozy for sure. Great staff. Very into what they do. Iíll be back.

A laid back pizza joint with a ton of beers. Itís kinda small, but is also pretty well designed and cozy. The food was said to be really good, and the pizza looked great. And the beer selection was really quite good, plus a bunch on tap. They once had the Abyss on tap! A real find. Canít wait to return.

Rather small, but comfortable area with an impressive list of bottled and draft ales. They often get the only keg of something that comes through Boise. Service was great, pizza was good, and non-smoking kicks ass.

Small casual pizza and sandwich place, although I didnít have any food. The tap list seemed more geared to import brews (Gouden Carolus Grand Cru on tap though, gotta love that) than Bitter Creek Ale House, which had more local/NW brews. Thereís outside seating as well, perfect for people-watching. A nice spot, chill and low-key.
