Pretty typical Whole Foods setup. A cooler row with locals and standard crafts. The rarest thing was a Boulevard - Sierra Nevada collaboration Iíd never seen. The mix six section is fairly limited. There is also a bar area with a handful of taps and presumably growler fills.

This Whole Foods anchors one end of the Shops On Lane mall, just west of OSU campus and 315. Parking is plentiful all around the building.

The interior is smaller than most Whole Foods locations. The beer section is toward the rear of the store. There is also a bar/coffee shop called The Social that has seating and a few bar stools and metal top bar, as well as a fireplace and windows with shelves full of growlers, of which they fill both 32oz and 64oz.

As for the beer selection, there are a couple hundred brands from breweries from Ohio like Great Lakes, Columbus Brewing, Rust Belt and Hoppiní Frog, as well as other craft brewers like Stone, Dogfish Head, Deschutes and Lagunitas. Imports from Belgium, Canada, Germany and elsewhere. As for The Social, they have around 8 taps with beer from Jackie Oís, Brothers Drake, Founders and Epic. Flights of 4 beers are available, and there are tastings weekly.

Service at Whole Foods is fairly consistent and good both at the bar and at check out from the grocery side. Our bartender was friendly and attentive, and was familiar with the beers. We did not have any food on our visit. However the menu looked similar to other locations.

All in all this is a pretty good spot for the immediate UA area, both in terms of the beer store and tap/growler selection.

Has the ambience of a grocery store because it is one. The beer is in the back left corner of the store. They have a small selection of national craft and Belgian and German selections with nothing too exotic or rare. I wish they had more local stuff. They do have some bombers but you canít make your own sixer. They also have six taps for growler fills.

This place doesnít have the largest beer set but the selection is varied and the beers they sell are smart picks. Large craft brew selection with varied Belgian and specialty bottles. Six taps are located behind the cheese counter. The taps are for growler fills only. The focus of the taps are local, draft only or is a good example of a particular style.

I was really surprised for the small beer section, but a large quantity of beer, including rare and craft brews. The guy taking invetory seemed interested in my interest in beer and mentioned if he had more room to stock more craft and rare beers, he would. I will go back.

Stopped in on a whim about a month ago and found a surprisingly good selection of beer. Pretty standard Ohio fare, didnít see anything new, but it does make a nice alternative to all the stores that everyone already knows about. I spotted a few special releases that had all but disappeared elsewhere. It doesnít stack up to whole foods or the andersonís, but itís a nice place.

This is a natural-style grocery store close to OSU campus. It has a fine selection of microbrews. I picked up a few Three Floyds selections along with an AleSmith Speedway Stout. Not a large amount of beer but an interesting eclectic selection.
