Visited on a Wednesday evening. I was looking for a bottle of Bourbon to bring back home for a neighbor and this was the store the folks at Eiderdown recommended. Pleasantly surprised at the solid beer selection here as well. Like other spots in town, an impressive selection of the Shelton Brothers beers, specifically Prairie - they had more of their beers here than the other stores I hit in town this week. Service was really great, particularly as it related to finding a Bourbon. Went in for a bottle of Bourbon, came out with that and a bunch of beers.

Nice selection of locals and imports - has one big advantage to most of the beer stores on the Kentucky side in that they let you get a single of any of their beers (even the 12-pack variety packs which is very cool). Nice walk-in cooler. Definitely worth a stop if in the area - walking distance from Cumberland, Zaís and River City Drafthouse.

This place has been totally overhauled since my last visit. Nice, modern interior now (and twice as big as the old store, but the same location); the beer is in the back, and all cold (beer cave). Service is pleasant and helpful enough. Selection here has really expanded, but there still good values all around; you will not find the beers here for lower prices in Louisville. They have lots of Prairie, for example; at least as much as Louisville Beer Store. Thereís a variety of cheeses, meats, etc. now in the fridge section near the front left. This place has really upped itís game. NOTES: No parking on premises per se, but free parking on streets nearby. Definitely worth a stop in Louisville, and is up there with some of our top bottle shops in terms of selection and value. Look in the beer cave itself for more Belgian beers and other rad 750s.

This place has really stepped up their beer game a lot. Renovated the entire beer area. Was in the other day and had a really great experience with some very friendly staff. Iíll definitely be back!

Prices are a little higher though, but it is a smaller store so this is perhaps why, the beer selection was limited to great...but valumarket nearby has way more ;)

Was looking for a particular beer and heard that they had it. The place is a small liquor store located in the Highlands. A small beer section is located in back of the store. They had Three Floyds, Bells, Founders and other mainstays in the area. The beers were pricey. Parking is a pain; had to park a distance away in the surrounding neighborhood. The only way Iím going back is if I need beer really bad.

As far as selection goes, their wine selection is great! Their beer selection isnít that bad either, however their spirits are kind of lacking and way over priced (Iím talking specifically about bourbon).

For its size, a great place. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. good selection and love the fact you can make your own 6-pack with any beer they have. They also sell good bread, funny cheeses and various salamis.
