Stopped in last summer pretty buzzed after a fest and had a cool pils on draft while sitting on the sidewalk patio. Good but not great selection for draft beers. Those weird TVs tell you how much is left per keg. Can’t wait to come back in a right frame of mind for a little more time.

Got there at 6 pm on a Tuesday, the place was packed and I couldn’t even find space in the bar but had to stand in the corner. A good sign as it means the place is popular. What pulled down the overall impression was the loud music they played, as if to overcome the loud talk. It did that. Good selection of Oregon breweries, not the best in town but still decent, pulls up. But overall I left the bar a bit disappointed. And its popularity means it’s difficult just to pop by for a beer when in town, as you may not find a place to sit, so I think I’ll stick to APEX and Belmont Station from now on. Visited: 2014-07-22

Very centrally located, small, loud and packed bar with a nice selection of beers on tap and bottles. Loads of locals on tap when I visited. This place would be perfect for a quiet afternoon visit. Samplers available, which is always a big plus. Overall easily the best place in downtown Portland.

Small place with quite a few esoteric beers on tap. Unfortunately, I picked three dullards, but that can happen when you’re adventuresome. Service was great.

I haven’t given Bailey’s a rating yet, surprisingly, so I will rectify this oversight as I was there last night.
First, let me say that part of my rating is based on past experience. I’ve always found the service to be top notch, the beer list to be expansive, and the place to be cozy, and often crowded.
However, last night, there was a switch from the calm spot I know to modem sex music blaring at 120 dB. Maybe the Rose Festival? Either way, they aren’t Apex, and they shouldn’t try out that vibe. If it continues this way, I’ll shift my rating. Personally, I hope there’s never a reason to look down upon this Portland institution.

Cool little bar in portland. When I was there the entire time they were playing some weird/trendy/world/instrumental music which I was slightly annoyed by ... and i’m very easy to please when it comes to music. They have a TV displaying the tap list and the current status of how much is in each keg ... so cool! I had a couple rare local brews and was able to snag a cool bailey’s logoed snifter. Lots of board games to enjoy while you are having a pint or two. Overall a great experience.

Great spot downtown and very fun and trendy. No food, but the Mexican place across the street delivers. Self service, but the line moves quickly. Board is cool and beers are all local. Great place for Portland craft and very good prices.

Great ambiance with big windows and view of an interesting part of downtown Portland. A great tap list of mostly Oregon beers, with many I’d never heard of from breweries around the PNW - things you can’t get in bottles. Good walk-up service, nice bottle selection, too. This is a first rate place and should definitely be on anyone’s list.

Small bar with a great selection. The electronic tap list is great, shows the keg levels and what’s coming up next which is also available online. Why don’t more places do this!

Visited December 12 2013. Quite small place with very good tap list. Only quality beers and also nice selection of bottles in fridge. If you want good seat it is better to come very early because this place is rather popular and location is great. Digital tap list was great and this place is modern in a good way.
